About Us
S.A.R.A.H. was established in memory of my beloved daughter, Sarah Beth Pellegrin, who tragically passed away from fentanyl poisoning on March 29, 2018, at the age of 31. Sarah was a beautiful soul who bravely fought against addiction and mental illness. Like so many others who have lost their lives to addiction, she was deeply cherished. We honor the memory of those we have lost, recognizing them as more than their struggles—they were beloved sons and daughters, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and friends. They had so much to offer the world, but addiction tragically took that potential from them and from us.
Addiction impacts the entire family, affecting us all.
At our nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery and breaking the stigma of addiction.
We are committed to sponsoring family-friendly gatherings that bring together members from various recovery groups. These events create a supportive environment where individuals and their families can connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships. By offering these opportunities, we aim to strengthen the recovery community and help individuals rediscover joy and purpose in their lives. Together, we can create a supportive network that empowers every member on their path to sustained recovery.
What we do
Our Vision
action
By educating families about the complexities of addiction, we can help break the stigma that often surrounds this issue. Creating open dialogues, sharing resources, and promoting local support groups, we can empower families to navigate the challenges of addiction together. This ultimately leading to healthier, more resilient relationships and a greater chance of recovery for those affected.
Awareness
Community awareness and events bringing awareness to drug addiction are essential in mobilizing resources and support systems. Engaging local communities through awareness events and social media fosters a collaborative environment, encouraging open discussions and reducing stigma.
Hope
Bringing and sharing hope with addicts and their families is a transformative journey that underscores the power of resilience and support. By fostering a compassionate environment, we can help individuals recognize that recovery is possible and that they are not alone in their struggles.
